• **Slim and Long Design:** Allows for deep and safe access into root canals without damaging tooth structure.
• **High Efficiency:** Effectively transmits ultrasonic vibrations to break down hard materials like cement or old root fillings.
• **Full Compatibility:** Fully compatible with DTE, Satelec, and NSK (S-type compatible models) scalers.
• **Superior Durability:** Made from medically treated stainless steel to resist breakage and corrosion.

Description: The Woodpecker ED4 is a specialized tip used with ultrasonic scalers in endodontic retreatment procedures. Unlike the ED4D version, it is not diamond-coated, making it less abrasive and safer for specific applications.

Indications:

• Removing old root canal fillings (like gutta-percha or cement) during retreatment.
• Removing foreign bodies or obstructions inside the canal.
• Breaking down residual cement in the pulp chamber.

Thread E (DTE/Satelec Compatible).
(Endodontics).

• **Material:** High-quality Stainless Steel.
• **Thread Type:** Thread E (DTE/Satelec Compatible).
• **Function:** Endodontics.
• **Sterilization:** Autoclavable at 134°C.

• 1 x Piece per pack.
• Individually sealed for hygiene and protection.

1. **Attachment:** Use a torque wrench to properly attach the tip to the handpiece without over-tightening.
2. **Setting:** Select the "Endo" mode on your scaler unit.
3. **Operation:** Start with minimal pressure; allow the vibrations to break down the material.
4. **Cooling:** Use water spray to cool the canal and prevent thermal damage.

Woodpecker is one of the world's largest manufacturers of ultrasonic equipment. The key difference between ED4 and ED4D is the absence of diamond coating in ED4, making it the preferred choice when aggressive canal wall abrasion is not desired.
